This projectile was bought from germany for swedish use during ww2 and was namned 10,5 cm rksprnggranat m/39(HE with a little smokecharge)
The grenades kept the german markings and was never repainted or remarked. I would want to know the correct german model.I know there is a lot of german specialists here.

This is a typical German 10,5 cm l.F.H.Gr ( one of several variations ). A small smoke charge ( red Phosphor ) was a standard in these. I can't see it in the sectioned picture, but is the shell body in 2 parts; cylindrical and conical parts screwed together?
Normally if the shell is made in one part the smoke charge is in a cavity below booster gaine ( TNT-filling cast in ). If the shell is made in 2 parts the smoke charge is on bottom as here ( a loose pressed TNT-filling packed in shell).
