105mm TPDS disgarding sabot

Hi does anyone know if the 105mm training disgarding sabot can be taken apart , without the pressures and centrifugal force as it leaves the barrel of the gun????

Yes Ken it can be taken apart, the base of the projectile unscrews (left hand thread) but it will be very tight.

Thanks Darren I will attempt this when I get it at Xmas time , I will upload some pictures and if it proves to be to tight and won't budge I will give you a shout again :tinysmile_fatgrin_t
