12 pounder case

Hi All I have just picked up what I believe is a nice 12 pounder 12 cwt case dated 1912 overall length is 392mm and internal measurement of the neck is 76.2mm and base is 103mm, could anybody confirm this, any help will be much appreciated.

Nice 12 pdr with no dents, surprisingly hard to find. Must have been used as a vase judging by the cork!

Thanks Tony for confirming that, would I be right in thinking its the 12 cwt one. Yes its possible it was used as a vase, I bet the adapter is going to be hard one to find.

Yes 12cwt. The adaptors do turn up, there are 2 types, but they look the same outside of the case. Cheers Tony
