This crawled in today - not something I've seen on the loose before.
105 for comparison

Gordon, by the looks of it it has a Base Bleed unit on the base. Nice find! ERFB-BB Extended Range Full Base Base Bleed, and it is one of the newest versions with the pads formed in production, instead of welded on.

I wish I was living back in NY again.

If I recall correctly it is Extended Range Full Bore. Then perhaps the BB.
The Iraqis had a bunch of these, I believe all were S. African manufacture. They were testing and trying to adapt them for CW/BW dispersal. I think (memory lapse) I brought a couple of examples back from a Kuwait/Iraq UNMOVIC exchange, they may still reside in the Dutch EOD collection - as UN/OPCW property. Any of the Dutch guys got pictures?

Yes it has the base bleed , more images ~

I just wish to confirm that this was made by General Electric C0 and is Lot 1 1986 as
the markings would seem to indicate. No idea as to the meaning of the latter A ?
Any one else have one of these ?
The dummy fuze is marked;
549585- 2n
2.10 LBS

My bad, it is as Jeff said, ERFB-BB Extended Range Full Bore Base Bleed.

I have at least one IRAQI ERFB projo, with signs near the fuzewell of the explosive being burned out of it (scorched paint).

I will place it near a south African one as a comparison and take a photo.
