Hi guys, only joined this forum 2nite. I was given a world war two ammunition box for my birthday, the markings on it are as follows:
P59 MK2 MC 1945
I would love to know what these mean, i.e what type of shell was stored in this box, what would have fired this particular shell and where it was used.
Although I have a keen interest in WW2 I am a complete novice when it comes to this area of things.
Any information will be much appreciated!!
