199 Experimental Fuze

Here is a picture of a really odd adaption of a service fuze (199)
normally a Pyrotechnic train time Fuze, this one also appears to have a percussion element added to it !
Not 100% sure of its credentials !:eek:hmy:

The white part is some form of Plastic-it collected dirt and muck like a magnet !
I think it may have been P.T.F.E. or very similar as it was very "slippery" to handle.:eek:hmy:

Oh yes, the other thing is that the two pyrotechnic holding rings are made of Steel as opposed to the normal Brass-they have been Cadmium plated. :eek:hmy:
