A brace of german ww2 cannon-rounds i picked up at Stoneleigh.
BJ tells me that they are nice ones as the markings tell a story but ive forgotten the info due to my brains being fried by the evil chillie sauce thats in another thread.....:xd:

Anyone tell me info on these please?

Hey Waff, Blackwatch.

I think the AP round is an 2 cm AP-I (German nomenclature: 2 cm Panzerbrandgranate Patrone (Phosphor) FFm ohne Zerleger / 2 cm Pzbrgr. Patr. (Phosphor) FFM o. Zerl. ) due to the white PH stencilling.
The yellow ring, normally denoting an APHE round, in this case very well may be an, originally, blue ring faded to yellow. It is known that the blue colour deteriorates to yellow, or even off white, with time.

greetz,

Menno.
