Still in the restoration process but thought I would show these to the group. I remember reading a thread about the detonater wells for these projos. Here are close ups of them fresh out of the projectiles.



Can anyone offer advice on how to "smoothen" the outsides what is the best way to recreate the smooth metal look before painting?

Nice to see some French shells, they don't get the exposure they deserve.
