37 x 288 experimental, Czechoslovakia

Well-Known Member
In collection I have this interesting Czechoslovak 37 x 288 experimental round. It looks like scaled up 30 x 211 M53/59. Case is made from 2 parts and is intended for presure test barrel. I have no information about this round, maybe someone else?

Regards
Pavel

I can't help you with an identification on this one but I like it, a lot, very nice.
Does the projectile come out of the case?
Dave.

In Czechoslovakia, around 1953-1954, the 37 mm twin-cannon was developed. In the years 1956-1957, the development of 37 mm four guns.
The ammo in your picture is from this development work.
Akon.

Thanks for the response, do you have any more detailed information about this project?
The projectile is solid and is stamped + 2 52 so it corresponds to the period you write about.
