This morning, deep within the mountians of West Virginia, I found this gem in an antique mall
I should have taken a before and after shot of this wooden box for the AP M74 37mm.
Within the past 70 years, some genius took the liberty to paint over all of the nomenclature with thick, OD paint.
The left side is after restoration, where the right image is an example of what it looked like before.
The front, restored part does not have the nomeclature stamped into the wood, as the rest of the box does, and was quite a challenge.
Did I pass the test?
