Very nice finds Richard,
The sockleflak projectile in the standard 37mm 1pr case will sit a little higher if the case is tight enough to line the neck crimps up with the groove on the projectile. Were these you sunday car boot finds ? i came back empty handed apart from a very cheap Sony minidisc player.

yes a worthwhile day out, I was on my way back to the car when I saw them, the stall holder had put them out after I had gone past the first time. One case is tight and holds it in the grove, the other is loose. Not out this weekend as I'm working.
