This 37mm belongs to a friend,
we dont know what type it is nor if the cartridge is original to it.
The base of the projectile is flat
It has what appears to be two fill or exit plugs in the side.
The nose portion is also internally threaded
There are no markings on the projectile
I have looked through the "37mm gun and ammunition book" by Robert Mellichamp and also Gspragges collection here on bocn and have not found anything similar

can anyone provide a positive id and further information

thanks in advance
Allan

Hello,

Looks like a French "37mm modle 1916" without the internal (head) fuze for Practice/Dummy. A small plug seems to replace the top stricker screwed.
I've seen the same shell with a square stamped on the base (square = practice).

Best Regards

Many Thanks for the quick Id Minenaz,,
now you have identified i have looked again in Gspragges collection and there it is

These have a flat tip, with a brass firing pin, so the pointed tip is likely a later addition non military, sometimes in brass.
