55 x 450B ?

The 55x450B (or 55 x 448B) cartridge was being developed in Germany at the end of WW2 for the Rheinmetall-Borsig Flak 58, the Rh-B MK 114 aircraft gun, and also I think for the Mauser MK 214B aircraft gun.

Does anyone have a photo of this round, or can advise on the appropriate colour for the steel case?

In fact, do rounds or cases ever become available for purchase?

I have seen only one in about 25 years and it was in dug up condition (but still good). No remnants of laquer were preserved and some moron painted it with Hammerite. So don't hold your breath waiting for one.
The predecessor 50mm Gert 56 (50x461B) was made of brass.
