7.62mm headstamp

Hi every one,
turned up this rather grotty,7.56mm tracer, headstamped K, I know that on .303" K=Kynock,but was,nt Kynoch part of ICI by 1964? could this be by another manufacturer?

Kynoch continued to used the "K" headstamp on SAA right to the end of their military production in the early 1970's. They only used "ICI" on a few .50 Browning rounds in the 1950's.

The round you have is an early 7.62mm L5A3 tracer, before it met the STANAG for tracer, which is why the NATO approval of a cross in circle is missing from the fourth position of the headstamp.
