Very excited to have received this item to day.. I bought it as a "Very old Case with Projectile". I have asked some questions under the "Identification" section. Two members got it spot on. It is a Sub-Calibre device for the 75 mm x 350R Sherman. it also has the British Broard Arrow on the Base. Weight appox. 10 kg. The "barrel" calibre is 7,34 mm. The base hase a breach which slides open. It also has two screws which most probably hold the centre part.I have not yet checked which cartridge will fit this item.Markings on the head are AH (this appears three times) on each separate part. Also a F (broad Arrow) 52.There are also faint markings on the outer brass rim of "MM", which I believe was an American on Canadian case which was used to made this item.Your feed back is most welcome. Enjoy.~~~~~~~~~~~
