From the dimensions, this bomb splinter is from an SD 50. Nice to see the fuse pocket header and lifting lug hole, plus the rear part where the tail fitted on.
Interesting to see how low the HE charge was/thick the casing was in SD HE bombs.
The description states "September 1944' - very unlikely as the last manned raid on London was about May 1944. More likely September 1940.
