Hi, I've just bought a 1942 b167 ammunition box and as I have been rubbing the thick black paint off, it appears to be painted all blue, including the underside of the lid with a broad yellow stripe down the centre and no writing before being over sprayed with green. Anybody any ideas as to what the blue means and what the yellow stripe indicates?
