This ones a nice one.
A fully weighted American dummy round for the 30x111 Aden.
Its clearly stamped
GM-1-EXP-1953-30MM on the driving band
The stencling on the projectile is
T 205
30MM INERT
FAX3M 2033

All for just 15 off Specialist Auctions last week (thanks to Mike Saffery).

If anyone has photos of any interesting Aden rounds out there I'd like to see them particularly the LV version, the rare 20mm and of course the one they were all developed from, the German Mauser 213.

You are right Spotter, it was the Armament Development Establishment then, so it is as you say, Armament Development and Enfield.

I was thinking of the later title of Armament Design Department.

I do not collect Aden rounds as I only go up to 15mm, but I have a number of drawings of various Aden rounds including the LV. I cannot post them at present as I am away from home.
