British, Italian, German, Mecar, ENERGA rifle grenades

Good Day,
I've been fortunate to find a number of variants of the ENERGA anti-tank rifle grenades including some of the UK cut aways. The chalk head practice rounds are especially interesting.
Regards,
Michael

The one with the '49' marking seems to be Danish. Attached a picture from a Danish manual. It was desinated "0,6 kg øvelsesgeværgranat M/49" in Denmark. Later these Danish practice ENERGAs had a blue body and white model number. However, I have never seen white tubes and fins on the Danish models. Is it possible to show detailed pictures of this one only?

Danish M/49 ENERGA inert anti-tank grenade?

Good Day,
Thank you for the information. This ENERGA practice round is different from my other examples I own. The body is a solid metal (aluminum) but with a recessed ring at the base of the cone (Ballistisk hætte) that is unlike the British No94 practice examples I have. Also, when I took the pictures, I noticed what I think is the rubber diaphragm, or Forstærknigsbrik in the base of the body.
The rotating tail fin assembly (Finnestykke) is made from a pliable white plastic. The tube (Halerør) is made from aluminum but is similarly coated in a white plastic.
I hope the pictures provide the answer to the origins of the ENERGA practice round.
Regards,
Michael

Has anyone come across other cutaway examples of the MECAR ENERGA rifle grenade? To date, I've seen British and German.
Thank you,
Michael

The Dutch HEAT rifle grenade was the NR 4 with nose fuze NR 37. The sight was the NR 17 and was used when fired with the FAL Rifle. The first marking was green with a red band and yellow text. The newer marking was green with yellow text. The practice with the chalk head was the NR 28. There was also a full metal practice version, blue with white markings. The pictures with the rifles are from the Dutch Institute for military history (NIMH).

Here is another of polished aluminium. Beneath are drill fuze and base detonator, complete with their storage cylinder.
Not for this example, of course, although the tail does unscrew and retains a drill detonator of precisely this pattern.

The Dutch practice all metal version was the NR 5

Hello Antoon,

It must be a Slip of the pen but the practice version with the chalk head is the NR 18.
