Not really sure where to put this so ill write it here. I'm just wondering if anybody collects small arms ammo how they display it, i have quite a few rounds and just have them stood up and there forever falling over. would be interested in looking at other peoples collections.

Any number of ways to display SAA. Most collectors use some sort of drawer arrangement with corrugated cardboard to keep them in line and in place. You have to be careful not to use wood such as oak, or corrugated paper that has a lot of acid in it. Most guys look for metal drawers such as map files or card-ex files. In todays computer age maps and cards are dinosauers so the cabinets can often be found at very reasonable prices.

If you want to be able to see the cartridges, you can use clear plastic trays that are intended to store medical test tubes such as blood samples. They have clear lids so the cartridges are clearly visible.

Everyone has a few cartridges that they stand up on shelves or book cases, and everyone has the same problem as you do. It's the price you pay to display them. Guys who live in areas prone to earthquakes are especially affected and probably should collect big ordnance which tends to stay in place better. Or stamps. ;)

Here are examples of a wooden drawer with cardboard, and one of a plastic tray.
