Are you referring to the 'T' surmounted by an arc? If so, this indicates the projectiles are fitted with a tracer element.

Sorry, forgot to say, it's stamped next to the Roman numeral II. At the top centre of the propeller is the letter P

It's the maker's trademark. Pressed Steel Company, Cowley, Oxford. Amongst other products made car bodies.

Cool, that makes things come alive. Do you think it would have been an ammunition carrier or a spigot gun carrier. A question that relates to both carriers, how were shells carried and how would a spigot gun have been carried?

The box (C207) held two 'Container, Ammunition, Q.F. 2-PR. Marks IX and X Guns'. The container, depending on mark, could carry the rounds either in shelves with holes or in paper containers.

Another one in Canada; "Collectors Source" $$$$$$$$:tinysmile_cry_t3:

Price is not too bad to me, considering what you get included. Shipping would kill it, I suspect!

Well, the seller is not known for bargaining, You could maybe try to get it without the round
and that might equal the postage. They have another one with the gun ~

I don't really need it. I have a few, some containers, Canadian and British and the gun for them. In fact, the practice flathead is the one thing I don't have!
