Cardboard Bomb

A drawing of the T29 Demonstration bomb, dated 1946. Although this drawing does not state it in the title, I have other drawings that identify the body of the T29 bomb as being a converted 8-inch artuillery round fiber container and the nose and tail sections being pressed cardboard. I'll have to do some research to see what the Demonstration bombs were used for, because that name has not existed for quite some time in US ordnance. The other Demonstration bombs I have drawings of used the standard bomb bodies.
