Hello,

Could someone please let me know what the manufacturer's initials R. M. R. represent on this No. 52 Mk. I detonator?

Many thanks,

R. M. R.

I think it is R.M.B. - Ruskin Motor Bodies, West Melbourne.

Hello TimG,

Thank you for your reply.

The initials R. M. R. are stamped on this detonator, as well, which has no number stamped into it.

Any ideas what the manufacturer's initials R. M. R. stand for?

Thanks,

Off hand - No. There's no mistaking that is R.M.R. However, Ruskin were engaged in a number of activities - armoured cars, 37 Pattern webbing and the assembly and the assembly of aircraft bombs.
