This is the latest in the stables of waff,im starting to acquire some 'thoroughbred' fuzes of late! :bandit:

Lovely type 25 with Rheinmetall-Borsig markings
Plungers still move, nice and crisp waff inspectors stamp.

A very very nice early example there paul and i must say these have probo been together since WW2 and tucked away in the dark.

House clearance springs to mind still maybe ex BD man who knows:wink:

Aye Phil,It sure is sweet pal. :)

The only other 25 early dated one i have is a 1940 'AA' stamped version.
'AA' i believe is another code for the Rheinmatell Borsig plant.

Wonder why they changed?

cheers

Here it with the top off.
Ive never seen one stripped in this condition,Im very happy!
I did strip the 17B top for pics but bottled out as that too looked straight from the factory!

Heres the 25.

It would be interesting to put a multi meter across the terminals to see
if there is a circuit still present or in fact and residual current left.

Stunning insides with no staining or nasty stuff:xd:

The 17B was in exactly the same condition. Would love to know where they were stashed all these years? :)
Next time my computer pal is round at my house,i will ask him to do the test.

In an old box or drawer or old kit bag with even his crabtree that probo got lost. Hows that for mills and boon:xd:
