Normally i wouldnt go to far with an ordinary number 9 fuse but this one came from my BLC 50 A which i know has been in the case since the begining of time, due to the amount of corrosion under the fuse, and the jammed locking rings.
I decided to strip the fuse and get a donar ( thanks to Waff ) as the bottom of the fuse was rotten.
so far i have stripped out all the broken screws and drilled and re tapped
all concerned.
I am having new screws made to exacting accuracy as they always look better with fresh screw heads showing.
