Hi,

this is not a rifle grenade, it is a 25mm Cartridge with a case length from 100mm. It is made for the Mathiot- Rifle from 1912, manufactured for the police.

Dear friends,
the photos that you posted are referred to the french granade firstly used in WWI in August 1914 (and in Paris in 1912)?

Do you have any picture about the T-shell developed by German scientist von Tappen (xylyl bromie)?

Last... Chronicles reported that Germans fired about 3000 105 mm granades in Neuve-Chapelle in October 1914. The shells contained TNT and dianisidine chlorosulfonate developed by Prof Nernst... any picture or other information about???
