French F-1, and some fuze.

Hi,

I got this French grenade last week, look's like normal French F-1 grenade but I'm not sure about fuze;
My friend tell me, it's a French fuze "mle.15". But I never seen before this fuze with so short fuze cup, and make from brown paper with brass top.
I have seen this kind of paper cup, but much, much longer of these.
Short cup, I have seen only brass made.
So maybe this is not mle.15 fuze?
On last pic, you can see other but similar French fuze, it is also some type of Mle.15?

Best Regards.

early 1915 fuze

That is the early 1915 match head fuze. The cardboard composition cover is pulled off. smaller one is then pushed down and rotated to strike a spark that lights the bickford type fuze in the lead piece that screws directly into grenade. Hard to find as yours in good shape. The last fuze would appear to be the m1916 percussion fuze.....Dano
