german chemical projectiles from WW1

May be have anybody info about colour marking of german chemical projectiles?
On photo is a projectile with blue marking on bottom of case.
It's a chemical?

Yes it's the blue color for chemical Diphenilchoroarsine german filling shell (with bottle inside)

Reminder of BOCN rules
POSTING IMAGES OF LIVE OR DUG ORDNANCE IS NOT PERMITTED ON BOCN
Only Ordnance approved Members can post images of live or dug ordnance.
These members are persons who are employed or have been employed in Legitimate ordnance clearance or EOD for professional companys or governments.
The only exception is Historical images ,news articles etc.
Discussion in detail of EOD procedures, inerting techniques(inerting techniques are not to be shown in any form) , explosive compositions etc is not permitted on site even by members who are "ordnance approved"
Do not disclose exact locations of current or scheduled clearance tasks,or other locations where ordnance may be found by the general public
This ruling was implemented for public safety and security reasons
Failure to abide/agree with this rule will result in removal of the images/posts and if repeat breach of this ruling occurs the member will be banned from BOCN
If you think you qualify be in the "ordnance approved" group please contact me via PM with your details
Ordnance Approval will only be considered for members who have been active on site for 4 weeks or more

just be carefull what your posting.

why dont you show stuff that has been dealt with by EOD ?
that way you wont be breaching BOCN rules and we get to see the goodies.

A uncle of a friend used to deal with all sorts of munitions himself AND knew exactly what he was doing,but i couldnt show it here.
just be carefull friend.
