Hi all, some time back I got this WW2 German grenade also called 'Volksgranate' or Peoplesgrenade.I suppose these were made in the last stages of the war, cheap to make and ?easy to use by the old and very young Volkssturm soldiers . I can't find info on this grenade.I believe it 's not 100% complete concerning the fuse. Anybody with more info as to which fuse was used?Maybe the one on photo N°5? Thanks ;)

I should leave this reply to the German experts but I have this information that may be helpful. Also a comparison photo.
Your item is not a German Volkshandgranate 45 which is larger and made of concrete with metal and a lid with no threads.
It seems to be a parachute Fallschirmjager 0.5kg ? and has a pull igniter and a suspension hook screwed into the base.
I show 2 examples. The Czech yellow cap igniter may not be correct but on the top and bottom is WaA 815 so official production rather than improvised.
It would make a small hand grenade if fitted with a winged fuze.
