I also think a German teargas-handgrenade, Model PPT M77.
Length 140 mm, diameter 65 mm, weight 300 gram, filler CN or CS, fuze delay 2.5 - 3.5 sec.
Produce teargas for 50-60 sec. Older models has a roll crimped top instead of the cup of this model.
