Hi All
I have been going through my fathers stuff following his death and have come across this Grenade. Now I think that it is a Mills No5 and made in August 1915.

I was just wondering if I'm right and roughly what its worth please?

I remember this as a kid 50 years ago as he used to use it as a paperweight.

Anyway, all info greatly received.

Thanks
Eifion

Concur, def a no 5, made by
Thomas Adshead & Sons, Paragon Works, Angle Street, Dudley.
It’s missing centre tube, will def mark down the value a lot, hard to say.

Thats Great Thanks. I really don't know what to do with it or the other numerous other inert cartridges he had.

Thanks again
Eifion
