3.7 Inch AA-High Explosive.

Most likely a 3.7 inch Anti Aircraft High Explosive round fitted with a mt Fuze No 208.

Mechanical Time (MT) fuze may be many numbers (208 is merely an example) and the exact number will depend on the use of the shell and the date when fitted/fired etc.

Shell can sometimes be inert filled and utilise the fuze magazine plus a small smoke burster to provide a spotting charge when used in a ground defence roll.
Take great care with that one and treat as HIGH EXPLOSIVE !:vroam::eek:
