identification needed on weathered shell

hi, I have ahd this large brass colourd shell in my house for as long as I can remember. The shell is coreoded as it was found in the sea I believe, I have pictures but they don't show the detail as much as I can see so I will post the markings with them.

1944 (to the top left of this date is what appears to be 51F of S1F or SIF or some other variant)

the shell is 420mm long


any info on the shell or its history and use would be hugely appreciated :)

Its a case for the 77mm gun used on the Churchill tank, Same case as the 3in 20cwt A/A gun
used with the proj's of the 17pdr tank A/t guFrank
