I got this 12pr case today.
The case's rim is very interesting. It's have little grooves.
This is normal in this cases? Or the grooves is maybe civil modification?

knurled rim

this sort of grooves usually refered to as knurling is generally used to indicate a non service round or case ie a blank or practice where it might get mixed with service rounds. Never seen it on a 12pr, whats the case length and does it have the 3 cut outs? 2pr

Thanks the informations 2pr!
The case's length is 213,5mm. What do you mean in cut outs? It's don't have.
