LOL, it's funny when you understand German but it's a joke that exixts of grammar trickage. That cannot be translated if one does not speak the language quite well for any language.
 
gentlemen, please don't trust all these modern translation programs too much!
better take an old fashioned dictionary and you'll find: Dichtung = seal or poetry, both is right and possible.
perhaps al'saad will give us a further explanation? :santaclaus:
 
well gentleman, as bosnia and herzegovina was occupied by austro-hungarian empire lot of persons use german words in common communication. so every bosnian understands this joke easily.
so...last words... in german submarine...achtung dichtung...or in english bloooody seal went off...and then goes all that with water getting in...
