For those who didn't know, the Ordnance Museum at Aberdeen will be moving to Fort Lee, Virginia. The Museum at Aberdeen will transition to whatever Fort Monmuth, NJ used to be (I think communications) since Monmuth is closing and being consolidated at Aberdeen under the BRAC Program. Whatever isn't transferred to Ft. Lee from Aberdeen will eventually be shifted to other bases or storage, from what I've been told. A lot is still there out in the field, but the brick and mortar Museum is closed to the public. Right before Christmas, they transferred Leopold, aka "Anzio Annie", to Ft. Lee. Here is a picture showing just the 280mm Gun loaded for shipment. Bruce.
