LWMZdr fuzes made from various materials. In front is a night firing fuze cover. Second pic shows the cover on a shell.

Hi Richard,

You have a nice collection !
There was two systems for the night firing fuze cover : screw or a clip.
Here is a detail :

Hot damn Richard, good show! Line 'em up, really buddy thanks for showing. I'd have to call it an LMW clinic for fuzes. Living here in the states I feel fortunate to have one fuze (came from Europe) and I so appreciate seeing stuff that I frankly had no idea existed. Saloom! Dano

OK so you have a "Night firing" fuze cover ?

What is the purpose of this cover, or were the old Pyrotechnic time fuzes so poorly sealed that the enemy could see the fuze "flaming" on its way to them ??????????

Really nice items here by the way, and you have certainly changed my mind on 1WW kit as I always steered clear of it.

(No, I am not collecting it as you guys seem to have it all)

Thank you all for showing us.
