Hi,

I was looking for some data on a piece of ordance I came accross which so far I have identified as an M94 which was possibly a later ammunition design for the Yugoslavian RB M57 Hand Launcher Antitank.

Jane's has no information on this bar a picture and I can find very little on the Internet. In particular I would be interested in the fuze used in this I know that in the earlier M57 it had a DA mechanical fuze but I have know information on this one. The remains of the one I encountered (partially detonated) didn't give any indication of the fuze design.

The best piece I have found so far is this which doesn't say much.

and this is an interesting artical on the RB M57 that I came accross.

there are two yugoslav types of grenades for M57 grenade launcher; M57 and M80. M57 is older model with 4 fins tail, and front of projectile with embossed fuse. M80 is like model that you have on photo in your first link. It has 6 fins tail and front of projectile is 'pin pointed'.

M57 is filled with 50:50 RDX:TNT composition, while M80 is filled with 60:40 RDX:TNT.

M57 is equipped with mechanical point detonating fuse, while M80 has pieso-electric PIBD fuse.

on your first link is M94 Dervish 2 grenade produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina during war. it is not Yugoslav projectile and can not be found in any official literature. designation M94 stands for M-model and 94-year in which grenade entered service.

here is grenade M93 Dervish made for M57 launcher that is made in Bosnian war manufactures upon M80 grenade, and which is predecessor of M94 Dervish 2 on link: http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/bosnian-made-round-t42117.html?t=42117

Would that sqaure box on the right, be a clip for the M202 FLASH rocket, by any chance?

Hello E-tech,
the square black container at the right is the transport/storage container for the German 44mm Panzerfaust Grenade just left of the container.
