Manipulier on Swiss Fuzes

AndyD

Well-Known Member
Does manip/manipulier on Swiss fuzes mean drill?
Also if a fuze has the letter M in the name,for example MVZ.45,does the M mean manip/manipulier?

Cheers,
Andy

.

MVZ 45 = Momentan-Verzgerungsznder 45 Fuze for 10,5 and 15 cm Kanon up 1935
Manipulier = training! Gru Harry

Please use the correct terms as applied in professional language. Nobody in the business uses the designation "training" for a particular item.
It is "DUMMY" or "DRILL" (more common in the UK) or then "PRACTICE".
Training might be all of them and has no significance then.
Do not leave room for wrong interpretation, in particular when it comes to safety related issues.
Computer translators do not count.

And also do not referr to German since the term in question is Swiss.
