Codes

I will have a proper check later, but at first glance:

Bartlett-Hayward Co., Baltimore, MD used "B.H"
Bethlehem Steel Co. used "B.S.C."

These are the codes on British contracts. Is your list for U.S. contracts?

Tony,

Appreciate the response. Yes, I was thinking US contract work only, but my assumption is that since most of these are WWI era that they no doubt used the same codes.

Hi EODGUY

Have you tried MIL-STD-1461? It might be of some help...

I have five or six different issues of the MIL STD and since most of these codes are WWI vintage they are not in the MIL STDs I have. Bob
