I'm ready to stand corrected, but to my knowledge no information has surfaced indicating that any type of projectile was developed for use solely with the MG/LB204. Available sources and pieces seem to confirm that standard production projectiles (both in HE and AP) were loaded.

regards.

Interesting that the author attributes both the belted and rimless cases to the MG 204.

The exact development sequence is not clear to me, but I had come to the conclusion that the belted case was used in the Lb 204 cannon, which was never formally adopted (the same basic round was of course also used in the S18-100 series anti-tank rifles). The rimless case was used in the modified MG 204, which was adopted but only saw limited service with the Küstenflieger.
