Last week I visited the museum at Crecy, Northwest of Abbeville, near the site of the famous medieval battle. As well as the expected medieval info (very interesting) there was a section of the museum devoted to WW2, although some of the items were actually WW1 fuzes. There was a model of a V1 launch site, showing the different kinds of buildings and their uses. Also in the museum was a large chunk of the wing of a B17 bomber and the wheel of a Mosquito aircraft. I will post photos when I get them transferred to a CD.
