Thanks again to Waff who sent this to me for
salvage of parts to get my 17 clocks going again.
The clocks dont seem to bad for corrosion
and i had to cut the lower section from the
clock movement but i saved a few bits
as requested and now have the clocks
soaking in spirit.

Funny you should say that but they were there but a bit crusty.
If you want o rings for 17s then i will sent you a few when i send
the 89 top back.They are a perfect fit and look right.

Im informed by our old friend Phil that his interweb connection is down `til the weekend so we will have to wait for the next chapter in this restoration.:tinysmile_angry_t:

Finally beat the internet gremlins old chap and have bundles to catch up on.

I had to cut the wifes wireless connection and put my original modem
back in,so we have ordered another server contract just for her from
virgin,so that means i dont have to share my pc anymore,what a result.

Right where were we?

Clocks out and all that stuff and a lot of soaking for various reasons
and we now have two ticks from its own power,which suits me fine
as that shows the escape wheel and balance wheel are up to the job.
Of to my mates place on saturday and see how the 17clocks have stripped
down,and to give him the 89 clocks to do his thing.
