Nice bullet. They are a pig to move when they are empty.

The M106 projectile has a reputation for being extremely accurate.

I'm sure someone mentioned this one was full of concrete!!
There's some strong lads over here in the UK!
Dave.

It certainly was full of concrete! :xd:

Thats why that other round 'flew' out the car boot as it was a pussycat compared to the 8" one pictured.
Trust me on this when i say it was hard graft mauling it into the car at 06.30

At least you have something guaranteed to crack the mixed nuts at Christmas even those pesky Almonds LOL

Nice looking object but my Missus would kill me if I brought anything that big home, I was watching a 420mm Shell on specialistauctions.com but got cold Feet LOL

My ex partner hated me collecting but ive met and married a great girl named Sarah who doesnt mind me having my hobby. That big 8-inch will go by fireside in the new house. And as for cracking nuts youre right there bud lol!

Good for you mate, I have a sectioned 105mm APDS, 2 x 30mm AFV Rounds and a pair of WW I German 150mm Brass Howitzer Cases either side of the Telly and my Missus does nothing but moan about cleaning them LOL

Nice projectile

There is just "something" about the fireside ornaments we like on here !]
Congratulations on acquiring on of the "big boys toys" for your collection.
Mine also sits in the lounge and I have told the misses that if she doesn't like then she can move it :xd:

I am worried that one day I will come home to find she has enlisted a few people to help her move it outside into the garden:eek:

My wife Sarah really is one of those rare girls who really doesnt mind as long as i dont have too many in the living room. I was going to move one of the smaller ones and she said "no youre not as ive got used to it being there"! Briliant!
