Who can give information about this N8-Mk5 fuze? It has the experimental purple stripe on the nose.
I have a N8 Mk 4 so what is different between these fuzes? Graduated 0-12 and is 12 tpi threads . All alloy fuze.

The N6 Fuze,

The Fuse N6'Mk 4 has been specifically designed for the 3 in. RE Rocket. It is
a mechanical time fuze using a conventional clockwork mechanism. Additional
features have been added to enable the fuze to remain safe to handle and also operate
under rocket firing conditions. All aluminium components are anodised to prevent
deterioration of the fuze during storage.

As for the original question I don't know what the difference is. Both are for the 3in RE Rocket.
