A 25 year old Brit takes upon himself to identify the resting place of a landing craft sunk during Normandy invasion https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7707922/. He wants to give this closure knowledge to an aging Royal Navy survivor from that ship. The old veteran and the young amature archeologist develop sort of a relationship which also involves many other people, like sea divers and French officials of Lion-sur-Mer where the ship has sunk.
