I have a question. At a recent flea market I spotted what looks like a standard WW1 75mm round , but the the fuze was a odd length .It was approx 8 inches long and shaped like a 50 bmg . The primer was missing so I could see there was no propellant and the projectile had several threaded holes in the side, perhaps for display mounting. What was the fuze? I passed at 50 bucks . Mistake?
