ORDATA offline

EOD

Well-Known Member
I used to do quick reference searches (easier than digging my own files) in ORDATA on the JMU site and found today that it is offline since recently and will be for quite a while as they are improving the data etc..

Here their message:
ORDATA was produced many years ago using the best information and database structure available at the time. Effective October 2013, ORDATA has been disabled so it can be refreshed and its technology improved.
The projected relaunch is scheduled for early to mid-2014. Please check back for updates.

Thought people may want to know.

Thanks for the notice, EOD. ORDATA is a site I have used frequently in the past myself and I considered it a good resource for getting initial information, but I haven't been there recently.

I was looking online earlier to see if ordata was back on without any luck,
from what i eventually found it appears they have renamed it to CORD "The Collaborative ORDnance data repositary"

heres a link to it

Hi Spotter, CORD has been up and running for at least the last couple of months, Not sure when it came online but it is a great resource for all.
