Managed to get hold of this great little book a few days ago, a 1st edition 1942 print of Explosives by John Read. This book makes a very interesting read covering in some detail all areas of explosives uses and manufacture.
A highly recommended read for anyone interested in this subject, i have included a few pictures that i have not seen elsewhere that are in the book.
Best regards Weasel.

It does look like a fun book to read. I like the Chapter "Explosives that excite others). Hell, all explosives excite me!
