pillbox

hi

me and my dad went pike fishing and camping to loch Garve in the North West Highlands scotland. when we were coming up to the loch there was a small pillbox. Between the pillbox there was the road and a train track. the pillbox was on the A835 between Ullapool and Inverness.
we were hoping someone out there could tell us why it was there any help would be greatfull

It is recorded as being part of the Highland Anti Invasion line of defence from WW2. Very few other details.
